Denver Poker Tour cashes in AGAIN at the World Series of Poker!

Congratulations go out to Julie Perla, dealer for the DPT, on her 12^th Place Finish in the 2007 Ladies World Series of Poker. Julie outplayed over 1280 other participants to claim 12^th Place in the event and bring home $10,766.00 in winnings. Julie was out in Las Vegas with several other DPT staffers including Jen Myers and Lori Sutterfield who also played well.

This makes the Denver Poker Tour 3 for 3 this year in the World Series of Poker Tournaments. Larry Davis finished 8^th place, Dennis King finished 54^th place, and Julie Perla finished 12^th place. ALL OF THEM CASHED IN!

The Denver Poker Tour FORUM is up and running. Take a look and maybe make a post or two. Subject matter includes: favorite Location, Favorite Dealer, Favorite Professional, Bad Beat Rants, and more. Just click on the FORUM button on the left of the front page on the website.

 Denver Poker Tour schedule changes!

On Monday’s starting June 18^th, The Mid-Town Beat Club will be holding afternoon games instead of an evening. The Mid-Town Beat will be holding at 1 PM game on BOTH MONDAY & TUESDAY AFTERNOONS!  This coming Monday and Tuesday, Brian Masters will be guest bartender, and he promises
$2.50 Domestic bottles, $2.00 Shot Specials, and $6.00 Domestic Pitchers ALL DAY!

The Mid-Town Beat is located on the SE Corner of Colorado Blvd. and Evans Ave.

 
On June 24^th, the Denver Poker Tour will welcome back Scruffy Murphy’s on Sunday’s for a 3 PM game. Enjoy all the great food & drink specials that Owner Andrew can bring. Don’t forget, on Sundays parking downtown is free!

This Wednesday, June 13^th, at Rack’em Billiards, Brian Masters will be behind the bar… so to speak. Rack’em is starting a NEW AND IMPROVED Happy Hour. That’s right, Happy Hour is extended for another hour, and all poker players from  5 PM to 7 PM will receive FREE pool! This Wednesday, players will also receive $6.00 Domestic Pitchers, $2.75 Bottles, and $2.00 Mystery Shot Specials! We will also be rewarding another VIP card! Come out early and have some fun, come out early and increase your chances of getting a VIP card!
