DPT Wins in the WSOP!
The Denver Poker Tour wins in the World Series of Poker!On Monday, January 29th, 2006, Five Denver Poker Tour players and Brian Masters traveled to compete in the World Series of Poker Circuit Event #2 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Over 300 players participated in this new event format from the World Series of Poker. After two days of play, the Denver Poker Tour found itself on the Final Table with our player Larry David of Parker, Colorado. The lights, cameras, and with Larry Davis providing all the action... the table was set.Larry started 2nd short stack and all the small blind as the Final Table began. Larry survived the blind by folding his first hand. The next hand saw the 1st short stack go all in, another player called, the Larry moved all-in... the remaining player called. Larry held pocket Jacks' and they were able to hold up. Larry tripled up immediately.How does Larry do after this hand....
